A-Data launches its first USB 3.0 drives, the NH01, in three models 320, 500 and 640 GB of storage capacity.
The USB 3.0 coming slowly but surely, especially hard drives, USB keys seem as yet have some difficulties to overcome. After long weeks of ads, Taiwanese A-Data has finally decided to launch its first USB 3.0 hard drives on the market.
Small size, large flow
These discs are formatted NH01 2.5 inches, and will be self-powered through their USB interface. Three models are offered, 320, 500 and 640 GB capacity. All should provide the same performance: 88 MB / s read and 81 MB / s write. That is what make us forget the 35 Mb / s of USB 2.0! Note that these discs will obviously backward compatible with USB 2.0, but the rates will just be smaller. The NH01 is delivered with software HDDtoGo (mobile software suite for Windows) and OStoGo (installation of Windows Vista / 7 from the USB drive), software designed by the manufacturer itself.
These external hard drives 2.5 “available in June this year, guaranteed for 3 years and costs 106 euros for the 320GB version, 136 euros for the 500GB model, and 166 euros with 640 GB capacity.

Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
I will post in a short time a review about your favorite gadget. I will send you the link directly to your mail.
I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
