After a lot of testing we find the best waterproof camera. In our opinion, this is the Pentax model. The model is Optio W60 and it takes movies at 720p and 15 fps (frames per second). Optio W60 can be used up to 11 meters underwater, and takes photos at 10 megapixel resolution. The optical zoom works very well, and the SuperMacro mode included is capable to take photos from a very short distance. However, this digital camera is one of the most interesting underwater waterproof cameras and you can take photos in your pool with ease. It’s recommended for taking pictures in sea water, at the mountain and in every your holiday.

One of the best compact digital camera able to work underwater is the Stylus Tough 8000. This Olympus model is able to take photos down to 11 meters. Stylus Tough 8000 is shockproof too, with ability to work even a fallen 2 meters. The minimal temperature for using is 2 Celsius degrees. The body of a camera is made from stainless steel. The image stabilization works very well and the optical zoom works very well at 28-102 mm.

Canon Powershot D10 it’s the first waterproof digital camera developed by Canon. This is one of the most able camera to be used at a high deep underwater range, with about 10 meters ability. D10 it’s one of the deepest divers from this category but it’s not enough to be ranked in our top 3 best underwater cameras. The negative points of this camera are the LCD display and the optical zoom, with just 3X capability. The positive points are the anti-shock (shockproof) and temperature proof ability. Canon D10 is able to word after exposure at two degrees Celsius and after a fallen from 1.2 meters.
5. Fujifilm Finepix Z33WP

With a great design, this Fuji Film camera it was designed especially for teens. The Fuji Z30 is one of the smallest underwater digital camera. In the same time, this camera is affordable and easy to use by a non technical user. The positive points of Z30 are a 2.7 inch LCD display and its 10 megapixels of resolution. It’s negative points are the waterproof ability, with just 10 feet (3 meters equivalent) resistance at water.
