Companion perfect for work and relaxation during their travels, the Inspiron M101z that Dell has just introduced ultra mobile PC looks like a thin, lightweight and elegantly bodied with a shell available in four trendy colors (pink, blue, red and black).
That said, it’s not so much as containing content that distinguishes this dashing little notebook of 1.56 kg. Despite its small size and light weight, the Inspiron M101z enjoys a relatively correct equipment and is capable of taking a daily workload for about 6.30 – according to the manufacturer – with a Lithium Ion six-cell .
Dell operates the duo AMD / ATI
The equipment is low energy consumption as consisting of a few greedy AMD Athlon II Neo Mobile, DDR3 memory clocked at only 800MHz and an ATI RS880M graphics chip integrated into a chipset and a driving TFT panel 16 / 9 LED backlighting. The latter has a diagonal of 11.6 inches (29.5 cm) and displays a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Next processor, Dell lets you choose between two processors AMD Athlon II Neo K125 (single heart and clocked at 1.7 GHz) or Athlon Neo II K325 (Dual heart functioning and 1.3GHz).

However, all this paraphernalia is far from making this Inspiron M101z a fighting machine. At most, a machine capable of decoding HD video, surf the Internet, to communicate with friends or do some office with confidence.
Side connectors, you’ll find the usual three USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet connections and Wi-Fi 802.11bgn, the new Bluetooth 3.0, a memory card reader, 1.3 megapixel webcam, HDMI and VGA outputs.
Finally be noted that this ultra mobile is already available on the online sales of the brand and its price starts at 429 euros (M101z monocore AMD processor with K125, 2 GB DDR3-800 and 250 GB HDD). This price includes the operating system Windows 7 Home Premium and software Syncables Desktop, and Office Skype Starter.
