Sanyo Xacti HD2000
Good progress from Sanyo
We were not tender with Sanyo in the past, but the manufacturer is making good progress to the point of proposing today a camcorder that offers the best value for money. Lightweight and compact, rather, the HD2000 is designed dear faithful to the brand. The grip is excellent and the vertical construction can partly compensate for the poor digital image stabilizer. In addition, all buttons are easily accessible from the tip of the thumb. Small price oblige, the finish is neat but it lacks some details, like the automatic shutter to protect the lens. Moreover, with the exception catch microphone and headset, all the connector is deported on the dock supplied with the camcorder.
Satisfactory pictures taken
Despite the modest size of the box, the screen is also larger than on competing models with a good definition but colors a little too saturated. The videos recorded on an SDHC card unfortunately not provided. They enjoy a good dive, but found this rather strong saturation of colors. The pictures take full advantage of megapixel sensor 8 and are very satisfactory. A flash is also included for shooting in the dark with a good noise. 30p mode is found already present on the HD1010, which further improves the quality but at the expense of fluidity of images. Not recommended for subjects fast. Also, fans will be interested in slow motion mode captures 240 frames per second resolution, but then fell to 448 x 336 pixels. Suffice to say that it greatly reduces the interest at least to post their works only on Internet …
