Two sets of affordable LED televisions from Sharp
The LE600 and LE700 televisions are the first LED democratic manufacturer.
The LC-40LE700E is a 1080p HDTV LCD TV backlighting LED based on a new panel X-Gen. It offers energy-saving features, a 100 Hz mode, the calibration options excavated, four HDMI 1.3 inputs and a USB port compatible with MP3 and JPEGs.
Two series of Aquos LCD televisions with LED backlighting are available from November 2009. Two sets of operating a system consisting of 1000 white LEDs evenly distributed to the rear of the new Gen – X LCD display panel. A panel supposedly more accurate and more luminous than the previous. Sharp also added at these models the Aquos Colour Enhancer, an electronic processing to boost color and contrast .
These LED TVs are certified Eco -Label and ensure reduced energy consumption. First thanks to LED itself, 40-50 % less greedy than the CCFL, because then the OPC sensor, which automatically adjusts the backlight intensity to environmental conditions, thanks, finally, ECO Picture Control technology, which modulates it according to the content of the image, we are told. Funny. In addition, two sets of remote controls are equipped with an Eco button to decrease the brightness of the backlight of 20-40 % depending on the mode chosen. Not to mention the presence of an on / off switch or the automatic standby if no signal is detected for 15 minutes.
LE600 Series
LE600 Series, the most affordable, includes three screen sizes (32 , 40 and 46 inches) . These three 1080p HDTVs offer a brightness of 450 cd / m2, a contrast ratio of 2000 000:1 ( dynamic ) and a response time of 6ms and have three HDMI inputs , a PC Input , Audio Input , analogue video and digital audio output.
This series uses its low prices and its sober aesthetic charm. Prices are in effect from 899 euros for the 32 -inch, 1199 Euros for the 40-inch and 1,699 euros for the 46 inches and are depending by location.
LE700 Series
LE700 Series offers a different design and is proving a little better equipped. It has calibration options including a more in depth, for a truly custom image, a new mode called anti – freezing Advanced Low, an AV mode that adjusts Intelligent image depending on the source and the brightness room and four HDMI inputs with the technology intraportal. This accelerates switching between different HDMI sources. The waiting time is thus, according to the manufacturer, shorter. Interesting.
LE700 Series also includes a 100 Hz mode, offers a response time of 4 ms and features a USB port compatible with MP3 and JPEGs. Four models are available : 32 inches ( 1099 euros), 40 inches ( 1399 euros ), 46 inches ( 899 euros ) and 52 inches ( 2299 euros).
