Sony Ericsson launches Zylo with Facebook and Twitter
In addition to advanced music features, the Zylo provides access to messaging and social networking sites.
Sony Ericsson extends its Walkman range with two new models, the Zylo and Spiro. Apart from their musical aptitude, these devices are distinguished by their ability to connect to social networks, allowing users to stay in touch with friends. Both integrate mobile slider, in fact, Facebook applications, and Twitter, which can be launched at the touch of a button.
The 3G + for Zylo, Edge for the Spiro
The Zylo is the model more upmarket. Compatible with 3G, it has an email client and integrates a 3.2 megapixel sensor, while the Spiro, compatible with the EDGE network, limited access to social networking and photo 2 megapixels. If each phone offers music functions related to basic environmental Walkman as TrackID recognition (of securities), they are present in greater numbers on the Zylo. The internal memory of the latter is 200 MB 5 MB cons for Spiro, but both devices accept microSD / SDHC. They have also both an FM radio.
The Zylo will be offered in black, silver or pink and Spiro black, pink or green. The two mobile should be available early in the third quarter of 2010. the first is expected to cost about 150 euros and the second less than 100 EUR without subscription.
