Sony generalizes the LED for LCD TVs and slim design

Several new series Bravia TV from Sony was launched in March and all incorporate an LED backlight.

The NX800 series enjoys a simple design of the most beautiful effect, a backlight LED Edge, a 200Hz mode, Wi-Fi enabled and features a nice array of multimedia functions.

Not that the two flagship series (LX900 and HX900) compatible 3D will get a sleek design and LED backlighting. Other lines also benefit from a refined aesthetic and a backlight LED Edge.

A design that has a price

This is particularly true NX800 Bravia line Presence with contemporary design will upset many. Available in two screen sizes (40 and 52 inches), the TVs 1080p LCD HDTV will be provided with a glass screen and brushed aluminum tilt to 6, in which rest the Deep Black Screen. A design model, thus integrating the ultrafine and Motionflow 200 Hz, and an attractive range of multimedia features including Wi-Fi, various widgets access to online services and DLNA certification. Prices are relatively high because the 40 inch model will be sold 1700 euros and the 52 inch model 2600 euros. The Bravia line NX700 will be cast in the same mold, with models of 46 and 52 inches, but with lower benefits and prices sweetest 1400 euros and 1900 euros.

Essential Line

The EX700 Series Bravia line of Essential will be much more classic design side, but always offer displays great finesse, thanks to LED backlighting Edge. The video processing is provided by the Bravia Engine 3. All models will have a Motionflow 100 Hz mode, a sensor presence, energy-saving features and the usual array of multimedia features (Wi-Fi, Widgets and online services). No DLNA certification, however. Six screen sizes will be available from March (32, 40, 46, 52 and 60 inches) at prices ranging between 1000 and 2800 euros. The line will include Essential another series, the Bravia EX500, a little less complete, but also less expensive to buy, since prices will be located between 750 and 1000 euros.

Cinematic line and other

Finally, note that the line will be supplemented by two Cinematic Series models HX700 (46 and 52 inches) that take the look of the HX900, but with a lower standard of performance, compatibility without 3D and prices slightly more affordable which will range from 1,300 euros to 1,700 euros.

Two other series (EX402 and EX302) are also available with entry-level models of small listed between 400 and 800 euros.
