The VGN-NW21MF has a design similar to other Sony notebooks. It’s made of plastic, it is rather thick and relatively heavy but comes with a neat finish. As it the case with Sony, the keyboards is of superior quality. The keys are spaced out and have generous dimensions. In other words, it is cut for the office and chat on the Internet. However, while the 15.6-inch format offers more space, no numeric keypad is built unlike other competing models. The three shortcuts that take place above the keyboard can cut the sound without using Windows, turn off the screen to save battery or run the browser. The touchpad is quiet small while the mouse buttons stand out which doesn’t make it less functional.

I have a laptop of the same model ( VGN21MF ). It made me lose my confidence in Sony and regret not choosing another brand. The battery life is 2 hours besides after 9 months of use I have a blurry screen, and a great number of dead pixels which didn’t happen for my friends and relatives owning other brands laptops.
