The TomTom GO 750 Live is a comprehensive GPS which enjoys access to the service live, as its name indicates. Advanced traffic information, traffic alerts and real-time search engine Google are just some of its assets.

Initially presented at the IFA in Berlin in September 2009, and the GO 750 Live TomTom GO 950 Live is available in stores from October 26th 2009. Succeeding the 740 GB and 940 Live GPS both have the advantage of being part of models called connected. Clearly, they enjoy a fee, access to the service TomTom Live. The latter, quite perfect, gives access to traffic information called high definition, but not only (for more information, read the test TomTom GO 940 Live and File GPS).

A new version of the Live service more user-friendly

The main thing to remember for these new models is that they take advantage of the second generation of Live service. Among the improvements it brings, the manufacturer speaks first review of ergonomics, simplified and therefore optimized. Thus, alerts on traffic conditions, security alerts or the price of fuel would be displayed more clearly on the screen.
Nothing very spectacular, because you could not find much to access this information on the GO 740 and GO 940 LIVE. The other big change for the radar warning system.

Coyote and TomTom have joined their communities

It is already possible to report and share real-time safety camera locations directly from the GPS with the entire TomTom community. Today, this service extends to the community of a pioneer in the field, the manufacturer and service provider Coyote System. This community numbers close to 250,000 subscribers, just for Coyote System. As for the figures on the TomTom community Live, they are confidential.

GPS always as comprehensive

The GPS should, as always, be very simple to use and rich points of interest. Included in the TomTom Live subscription (9.95 euros / month for all services), there is still access Google Search. A search engine can find all kinds of places that are not referenced from the traditional points of interest, identified here by TeleAtlas (a supplier of mapping), as the local bakery. Finally, the base material should remain substantially the same. The new GO benefit from a screen diagonal of 10.9 cm and Bluetooth technology to connect a cell phone.

Another attractive alternative, the TomTom GO 750 and GO 950 Live Live will be sold respectively at 280 and 330 euros. Prices much more affordable than those of GO 740 and GO 940 LIVE Live to their launch. Both embark mapping of 45 European countries, plus, for the GO 950 Live mapping of Canada and the United States.
