This little box is available in several colors (the pink version which was disposed of its kind was spectacular) includes all orders that two buttons for volume control. In fact, everything happens on a separate cradle for the iPod with a wireless link between the two. Stronger, this support is in two parts and when the iPod is loaded correctly, you can remove the fixed part connected to the mains. The removable part containing the iPod plugged into the transmitter, then you have some sort of remote control of PDX-50 and you can stroll at your leisure with your iPod while enjoying the sound distribution. The scope is announced 20 meters and covers at least the part where you are.

A good quality of the sound

Yamaha-PDX-50As this is a radio broadcast, you can use several Yamaha PDX-50 from a single iPod even if the interest of the thing seems limited. In practice, the radio works well and definitely brings a really nice job freedom. The operation with the iPhone has no problems either. In use, we discover a good listener with a very balanced and credible if the major does not go down very low, the deficiency is not sensitive to most music. The stamps are very good and the dynamic too. The main problem is obviously the stereo reduced to practically nothing, and there is no sound processing to delude the request. The noise level possible is important for a model in a compact, quite enough for foreseeable uses. With, however, on occasion, resonance phenomena if we really pushed the volume. With the PDX-50, Yamaha has found an original and very convenient and will certainly happiness of some fans. An happiness that does, however quite expensive.
